Sat. night before bed The boys and I started a new book and Jaxon got so excited he said "Well here goes our next great adventure." I couldn't help but smile and be excited for the next adventure his enthusiasm is contagious. I love that he loves to read, and hope its is the books not his mom that gets carried away in the book and lets them stay up past there bed time. We read Eragon together and it was fun. He likes to brush my hair while its my turn to read and I brush his head while it is his turn (sometimes I take extra long turns reading, because I like it.) I hope he always has a passion for books. It is going to take us a while to get through this one. I absolutly get into the books as well and have a hard time waiting for him and not reading when he goes to bed. I 'll try to be a more patient mom.

all cut up
So last Tues. John was chasing Macie around the couch and I was sitting on the floor next to the fireplace and Macie ran to me and was sitting on my lap then stood up and tripped over my leg and hit the fireplace. So a lot of blood and eight stitches later we were home. It always has to be me she couldn't of hit the fireplace while John was chasing her it was while she was on my lap. I have the worst luck!
She was super brave is it sad that she knew what to expect? While the Dr. was giving here shots to numb her up she didn't even flinch there were tears coming out of her eyes but she didn't move or make a sound I don't think I would've held that still. It broke my heart to see her in pain and being so brave. Macie is truly a strong girl.
O.K I Was so excited yesterday at church because the girls were twiners. I love it. I think if they had the dress in my size I would have worn it to maybe, maybe not. John gave me grief but it was worth it. They were so cute. I know this picture is a little blurry but Mya's smile is so cute I had to post it!

John
So I have made a few of bad choices in my life, But of all the things I've done wrong, I did this right!! I married John Weatherly And my life has literally been a piece of cake ever since. He is amazing he is funny constantly keeping me on my toes, I could never say my life was boring. He makes me smile every day. He truly loves our children and seeing that makes me love him more. He makes us all better people and unless you want me to get really sappy on ya I better just stop now. Just know life has taught me a lot and I will never take anything for granted especially him!!!

my pride and joy
I have been looking at so many other peoples blogs lately and decided that it was time to start my own. One of the greatest joys in my life and biggest responsibilities is to be a mom. It is not something I take lightly and I never want to forget what they are doing and the different stages of life we are in, and what we are going through so maybe this will help us remember. And it might be fun for others to check in as well, and see how we are doing. I am a lucky mom that I get to watch these kids grow up. I truly am witnessing something great and I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
I have 4 children My oldest is Jaxon (8) Dallin (6) Macie (3) and Mya ( 5 months)
O.K. So who ever said that flag football wasn't a contact sport was wrong I think its probibly harder than tackle. These kids need pads! Jaxon and Dallin are both playing and it is fun and scary to watch. Last game Jaxon tackled a kid and then ripped his flag off. The coach had to talk to him. (I think John was proud should I be worried about that?) It is probibly all those BYU football games he has gone to with his dad. Dallin played really good as well, he was playing defensive line and got the quarterbacks flag twice one time pushing him almost into his endzone. Flag football is not for the light hearted.
Dallin is the kid taking down the red head in the green shirt.
