John Thinks He is so Funny

So when John and I got are cell phones he had mine for one day and recorded the voice mail message, it said you have reached "John Weatherly " and I never changed it because I hate my voice on any messages. It annoyed John and he always threatened me that he was going to change it. Well, 2 years later he decided to follow through.  He said he had listened to his voice enough and he did change it (turkey).  But, how often do you call your own phone and listen to the message? Well, I'll tell you.   Never! Finally, someone called me on the home phone and was laughing and told me about it. It said " I am sorry Mattie can't come to the phone right now her phone is probably in the car or else lost somewhere, if she ever finds it she might get back to you, but good luck with that."

The sad thing is most of the time I do leave it in the car and it does happen to get lost a lot. He calls me a lot during the day and sometimes he has a hard time getting hold of me...  Whatever.

So I changed the message so it was the computer that said leave a message.  Then I lost my phone again and he changed the message one more time (don't worry the phone always shows up).  I found out because another friend that had called my cell then called the house told me. Same old dog - but new trick.  This time it said " I am sorry Mattie can't come to the phone, but it' s once again either lost or she is really tired and doesn't want to come answer it."  He thinks he is Hilarious.

Now my phone just says Mattie Weatherly, but it is his deep voice.  I am glad I can keep him so entertained!  He just calls to talk to me cause he says I'm the only sane person he talks to all day.  The fact that he thinks I am sane is a good thing - I still have him fooled!

So Monday afternoon it was my turn to pick up Jaxonand his friend Gavin from basketball. Jaxon, Dallin, and Gavin were all in the back seat shootin the bull about who knows what and Macie starts yelling at Gavin " Gavin, Gavin" That went on for a while until Gavin finally answered and said "what" Macie proceeded to ask if he liked her hair. He said "ya" (with the roll of his eyes) and then went back to talking with the boys. While staring at Gavin she rested her head on her hand then proceeded to sing to the radio, singing " Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over again. Don't make me change my mind, or I won't live to see another day I swear its true .." She kept singing word for word as loud as she could. I think Gavin tried to pretend not to notice. I wouldn't be suprised if his mom calls me up to tell me Gavins not allowed to ride in my car.

Now, isn't it a little early for this? I thought boys had cooties. Why why can't they just have cooties. I told John about it and he said I am not allowed to listen to the radio in the car anymore. Hello, I don't think that is the problem!! Well good luck to us, I guess.

Wednesday it was my turn to drive and I went and picked up Chandler and he got in the back and started to talk to Jaxon. New boy same old Macie. She once again started to yell his name, So I turned off the radio as fast as I could and told her she is no longer allowed to talk to her brothers friends we'll see how long that lasts. Funny girl.

Last weekend my mother, brother, and his wife came up to Idaho. We had such a good time. There is nothing sweeter than family. I have missed Mac, he is my baby brother. He has been playing baseball all over the country this summer. It was fun to listen to all his games on the internet. He is not just an amazing Baseball player he is an amazing man, with the sweetest wife and baby. I think Mya misses her Addie Lou (Mac's baby). I know I miss them all.

Mya Jane

My Sister Breck requested some more pictures of Mya my 19.2 lb tank. She is such a happy baby and why shouldn't you be if you had this may rolls. It makes me happy too.

She does have a secret roll under her diaper but I didn't post it just in case the blog police come .

She is so fun and she is such a good baby. She loves us all but when her daddy walks in a room her eyes light up.

DON'T MESS WITH DALLIN

Dallin played a great game last sat. He is really good on the line. He knows how to block, sometimes he just wouldn't know when to stop blocking . He also likes to get one last shove in. I don't know if football is the right sport for him. We might have to try golf.

Dallin is in the middle with navy blue hat white shirt red sleeves and light blue pants.

Sat. night before bed The boys and I started a new book and Jaxon got so excited he said "Well here goes our next great adventure." I couldn't help but smile and be excited for the next adventure his enthusiasm is contagious. I love that he loves to read, and hope its is the books not his mom that gets carried away in the book and lets them stay up past there bed time. We read Eragon together and it was fun. He likes to brush my hair while its my turn to read and I brush his head while it is his turn (sometimes I take extra long turns reading, because I like it.) I hope he always has a passion for books. It is going to take us a while to get through this one. I absolutly get into the books as well and have a hard time waiting for him and not reading when he goes to bed. I 'll try to be a more patient mom.

all cut up

So last Tues. John was chasing Macie around the couch and I was sitting on the floor next to the fireplace and Macie ran to me and was sitting on my lap then stood up and tripped over my leg and hit the fireplace. So a lot of blood and eight stitches later we were home. It always has to be me she couldn't of hit the fireplace while John was chasing her it was while she was on my lap. I have the worst luck!
She was super brave is it sad that she knew what to expect? While the Dr. was giving here shots to numb her up she didn't even flinch there were tears coming out of her eyes but she didn't move or make a sound I don't think I would've held that still. It broke my heart to see her in pain and being so brave. Macie is truly a strong girl.
O.K I Was so excited yesterday at church because the girls were twiners. I love it. I think if they had the dress in my size I would have worn it to maybe, maybe not. John gave me grief but it was worth it. They were so cute. I know this picture is a little blurry but Mya's smile is so cute I had to post it!
